This place suits me perfectly! It offers free wi-fi in public areas, a game room, and comfortable accommodations. On my first stay, the staff helped me with directions, which I appreciated. The breakfast is amazing too! I’m coming back for Christmas.

We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. They served this warm blueberry scone that was out of this world, and everyone sat together chatting like old friends, great atmosphere. The overall decor was beautiful, full of historic charm, and every corner had a unique piece of art.

Y’all, the local eats are off the charts! Walnut Hills serves up Southern comfort like no other, while Anchuca Dining brings history to your plate. Such amazing food experiences! And don’t forget those hearty communal breakfasts with travelers from all over—made for some interesting stories! Plus, the cozy vibe and cool history of the Baer House make it a unique stay.

Now, I ain't saying the scenery was bland, but the river views could have been more scenic.

Our stay was delightful! We appreciated the lovely decor and felt at home in our cozy King Room. Tonya's hospitality stood out. she prepared an amazing breakfast with fresh fruit and warm blueberry scones. For a memorable dinner, try 10 South for stunning river views and delicious cuisine.

The Baer House Inn is beautifully decorated with a homey feel. I particularly enjoyed the lovely porches and spacious common areas, which were perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee while enjoying the serene surroundings.

More seating in common areas for guests would help.

The King Room was nice and cozy with a comfy bed. The decor had a charming old-school vibe that I loved. It was clean, but could use a little freshening up in some spots. Also, the stairs to the second floor were kind of steep, so keep that in mind. The shared bathroom wasn't an issue for us, though—a couple of rooms had to share, but ours was all good.

It was just a good pick for a rapid stop in Vicksburg with fantastic value. Breakfast was outstanding, and I couldn’t finish it all. Just be ready for a lot of stairs to your room.

I loved staying in a cozy room decorated with antiques while being just a few steps away from the Old Courthouse and a stroll along the riverfront murals, making my walkabout in Vicksburg super enjoyable. the hosts were informative yet gave us space to relax, making the whole experience feel just right for weekend explorers like me.

Would recommend for a weekend rest.

Charming decor, friendly atmosphere, the bedroom with its sitting area was very large and comfortable, and the dining room was beautifully set and featured home-cooked breakfast options, including cinnamon and pumpkin spice pancakes.
